Wow that was a LONNNGGG book. And that’s the reason I gave it 3 stars. I think this was the first ZA book that I have not given 5 stars to. I think the story has started to drag on too much. I am fine with a big book and an even bigger series, but a lot of this book felt unnecessary and drawn out. That’s part of why it took me sooo long to finish. I was starting to get bored of it. Plus I’m reading it as a physical book rather than an audiobook and I’m always slower with those.

Overall, I like the direction this book went. I’m excited for the conclusion in the final book. I just wish we could have been a little bit more concise in getting there over this book.

Also as a side note, I miss them being at the school.
