Another long rollercoaster of a book that did not disappoint. There is still a lot to be resolved. I am looking forward to seeing where the story leads now that the main female characters are left trapped.

Honestly I’m not sure how much more of this torture my heart can take.

These women are evil mastermind spider-authors, spinning a web of interlocking reading orders designed to drive sane people mad and characters designed to lure poor unsuspecting readers in so you’re addicted to the bait and before you know what’s happening, you’re stuck in the plot-web, and then you THINK you’ve blacked out but you’re not sure because suddenly you find yourself in a cauldron over a roaring fucking dragon-fire with two sadistic authors cackling over your poor beer-battered heart, preparing to devour you body and soul right in front of your severed head which can still see and think but instead of focusing on your doom you’re still seething over how much you want to curbstomp Lionel because that’s all your brain is now wired to do. You don’t even know you’ve been eaten until it’s too late.

If my Goodreads shows me as currently reading Restless Stars for the rest of my life, it means I’m dead, they killed me, and I want justice.
