I liked this one, although it did have some odd choices in it. Some of the scenes felt unnecessarily uncomfortably sexual, which felt weird for the ages of the characters involved.
I liked the story a lot and it kept me guessing the entire time. I’m intrigued as to where the story is going and I’ll definitely be reading the sequel soon.
For me, the world building could have been a bit more fleshed out, but I’m hoping we get more of that in the next book.

I loved the dark London and in the end really liked the story but it was a bit too slow for me in the beginning. Luckily I know from the Captive Prince books that I can get sucked in Pacats stories when we are further in the books. And that happened here again. So slow start but real good towards the end!
