The pacing in the beginning was a bit slow and I kept forgetting to finish it a few times- but then it started picking up and when it did, it d i d.

Holy damn what an ending to this book.
It took me a few slow chapters to get completely hooked by the world but once I was in I was IN. The twists and turns, I was rooting for every character of the main cast and holy shit the whole second half of the book ruined me, finding the entire Hall dead, I haven't cried while reading in a while but that moment really got me.
The only tiny negative to me is that I find Will and James a little boring at times, it's very much only my personal opinions though and their characters are both still awesome.
I will definitely be reading the rest of the serie especially keep following Violet's side of the story.
