honestly about 60% of this was kind of boring… BUT THOSE LAST 60 PAGES?????? WHAT THE HELLLLLL?!!?!!! I shouldve seen that coming but WHAAAAAAAAAA

Parts of this I sort of hated, but I liked it enough to be looking forward to the second book. I blame the promise of a slow burn. How confusing :)

This is when a chosen one is a smart decision-maker and gets things done. I didn't know I'd love this book and I'm glad I picked it up!

I just love the names in this book-- like, Simon, Will, and James. It's cute huhuh what a warm good time. I want to start book 2 now
