An interesting read that had moments and phrases that didn't age well.

I felt early on that I had an idea who the perpetrator was, and was thrilled at the end to watch my theory come together! Even having the feeling of already knowing, the story held my attention and I flew through the pages following the clues.

My first Miss Marple story and it has me interested in picking up more!

Story is ok. I know there are necessary leniencies in mystery writing but honestly, 2 people from the past end up in the same area and party? I was starting to get really irritated myself by Miss Knight. Just not the beat Miss Marple book. And it’s not a bad thing necessarily, but this was so easy to figure out. As in, as soon as the murder happened, I knew who did it and why.
