It's taken me a few days to reflect on this book, even giving it a rating.

Firstly, what a beautifully odd book. I don't think any blurb could do it justice of how eccentric the whole thing is. And how wonderful the results are.

While the characters might not be likeable, they're memorable and incredibly funny.

The pace and writing are great, too. I've never felt the pace of the book be so perfect.

This would be 5 stars but there's just something niggling at me saying it's not quite perfect. Maybe that's the point of the book...

This book is weird as hell. But I loved it. The plot is set up to go in a million different directions and I had to read each word to understand what the hell Greta was saying. 

There were parts where I was confused about where it was going. Those were the parts that were harder to get through. But this book is made for all weirdos out there.

Started strong, but lost some of the sparkle in the back half of the book. Pacing was uneven too. Terrible people coping with trauma, but funny. The dog

mauling scene

was a lot. I understand why it’s there for the narrative but damn.
