One of the best books I’ve read in a while. A refreshing example of an older lesbian protagonist that still has shit to work through. Humour that didn’t fail to make me laugh out loud on more than several occasions, weird and wonderful characters that somehow don’t seem like caricatures, and the unique perspective of a therapy transcriber made this a book that I wish went on for longer. Read it!

feels insane to say this, as someone who's never liked things in their entirety and has never used the word "favourite" without some level of self-deception, but: best book ever written.
