what an absolutly gorgeous gloomy romance. loved every second. 5 stars not as in it changed my life, but 5 stars as in i thoroughly enjoyed so much, 4 wouldn't have been enough.

charlotte's writing is so so gorgeous, and i cant help note how well paced it all was i just adored it!

TECHNICALLY i listened to the audiobook tho. like/comment if u think audiobooks are valid to log on goodreads !!!!
medium-paced

i adored the first half of this book but i cannot bear to read one more word about mr rochester. how the romantic relationship between him and jane can be considered anything other than creepy is beyond me.

This book is so boring. I can’t stand Mr.Rochesters bitch ass whining. I enjoyed the early parts of Jane’s life and when she left Mr.Rochester. I’m always TEAM Choose Yourself. I feel like I wasted almost 18 hours of listening to the audiobook. I can’t believe Jane was even attracted to this man. Not a young woman with a middle aged man. Not much even happens and I was dreading for each chapter to be over. It didn’t help that I kept falling asleep and having to rewind the audio to make up for what I missed. An absolute snooze fest!

I've just finished reading Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë and I really had to say that I am proud of myself this time because I never read any classic books as fast as I read Jane Eyre. In a day and a half. Usually it takes me literally a week to finish one classics and this time I read it in a very fast progress. Whew..

I'd like to give 5/5 stars for Jane Eyre because I really love the story, the plot is really amazing and the book is so beautifully written. I'm really looking forward to read more of the Brontë sisters.

Jane suffered a really miserable childhood because of her austere aunt and her cousins. She then got sent to the Lowood school where the rules is pretty much strict there and she met Helen Burns. I adore Jane and Helen friendship a lot. My most favorite part of them both is where Helen was dying from this—some kind of—contagious cold or something like that, I'm not so sure. Jane literally stays with Helen the whole night until Helen took her last breath. That is just a really true friendship there.

Then, here comes Mr. Edward Rochester. I'm not going to say anything but one here. Where can I find myself a Mr. Rochester? The end. Hehe.

Overall I really love Jane Eyre and it is one of my favorite classics of all. I have developed so many feels from the book and I think I have a book hangover now. Ugh.. but I like it anyways :)

a 19th century novel were the leading lady is not only intelligent but knows her worth and the story contains gothic elements? sign me up!
