I read this as part of my English literature a-level and all I can say is that I’ve never read a book as boring as this in my whole life.

Jane came from nothing, and has no one and longs for love and acceptance.

This is the classic Victorian novel written in perfect Bronte style. As far as I'm concerned Jane Eyre and [b:Villette|31173|Villette|Charlotte Brontë|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1320412741l/31173._SY75_.jpg|40852693] are two of the best Victorian novels I have read. 

As most novels from the time, there is a deep religious tone and a hard look at social class.

what an absolutly gorgeous gloomy romance. loved every second. 5 stars not as in it changed my life, but 5 stars as in i thoroughly enjoyed so much, 4 wouldn't have been enough.

charlotte's writing is so so gorgeous, and i cant help note how well paced it all was i just adored it!

TECHNICALLY i listened to the audiobook tho. like/comment if u think audiobooks are valid to log on goodreads !!!!
