I absolutely loved this story! It was beautifully written and the characters were amazing!
I can see why the person at Barnes and Noble said either you’ll love it or hate it. I admit I read this for a class but thoroughly enjoyed it.
I really enjoyed this book, particularly the humanity of the characters and the elements of mystery and tension throughout. I can't believe I haven't read it before. I think my few experiences with Wuthering Heights turned me away from the Bronte sisters. Jane Eyre is a classic with good reason.
I had to read this book for my literature class in university. I think I would have enjoyed it a lot more if I read it on my own accord. I was very satisfied with the ending

I love this book. I can't believe I hadn't read it until I was 24. I'm reading it again right now. I've loved the movie (Timothy Dalton version) for years but never got around to reading the book. I'm glad I finally did - it was full of great emotion.
