Much like everyone, I've always loved this book.
I especially love the caterpillar, and the rhyming pell-mell, tumble-bumble bits!

I think it's perfectly acceptable that these trouble-making puppies don't get any dessert when they come home...since you shouldn't feed dogs chocolate pudding anyways.

A classic--even if it's a little long!

I never understood why this adorable, curious, slow, methodical baby got into so much trouble for just wanting to take his time to check things out. :(

Five little puppies dug a hole under the fence and went for a walk in the wide, wide world.

That sentence is the best start to a story, and may possibly be a sentence upon which I've based the foundation of my life. I poke along at my own speed, exploring the things I want. And while I may occasionally get left behind and even more rarely left out, in the end I go to bed full and very satisfied with myself.

My wife and I just found the board book edition in the PX - already a hit with our youngest (22 months). Great classic.
