I think I hate-liked it. The characters are soooo icky and awful, but I also want to know what happens in their life.
Bumping the rating up to 4 stars, from my initial 3,5, because I'll definitely read the next one in the series. This stuff is addictive.

This was a white knuckle thrill ride...

Holy crap! That was the craziest ride! These boys (men? demons? demigods?) are dark, twisted and fifty shades of crazy and to make this Zon approved screwed up. Violence and pain feed their souls and when they set their eyes on you, it’s already too late for you to run. As the world seems to be ending all around their private academy, the kings may have to come to term with finally having a queen in their midst, one they will protect at all costs...

Holy Quarantine!

Caroline and Suzanne have done it again. I bow down to them and their incredible writing skills. This story never had a dull moment. It was a rollercoaster of epic proportions and I was on the ride until the very end. I love how this story relates to what is happening in the world currently, but it still takes you into another universe. It was great being able to laugh at some of the situations and how ridiculous they were even if we are also dealing with them. (Why do people hoard toilet paper??)

I adore Tatum so much. Seriously, this girl is amazing. I love that she is strong, sarcastic and has mad survival skills. But what I love the most about her is that she is real. A lot of main female characters in books I’ve read lately are so tough they don’t show emotion. With Tate we got to see her break a little, though not completely! I loved the moments where she let go and cried because in the end she got right back up and decided to keep fighting. It showed that it’s okay to feel defeated and lose hope, but to always remember to “survive at all costs.”

Now for the Night Keepers. Oh man, these boys gave me whiplash. One chapter I am cursing them and hoping for them to be brought to their knees and the next I am on the edge of my seat excited to see what is going on in their heads. I went back and forth so much with how I felt about them all. Honestly, I still don’t know if I actually like them or not. But that doesn't mean I'm not dying for more of them! I’m excited to read how their relationship with Tatum grows and hopefully, they can show me more of their caring sides.

Monroe is on the top list of book boyfriends, that is all I will say about him.

I want more stories of how the Unspeakables came to be. I definitely didn't feel bad after hearing a certain one's story. Curious if it will be the same for some of the others. I also hope we get more Mila. I like her friendship with Tatum and I think she would be good at helping Tate overcome some of the events that happened not only in the book, but her life in general. She seems like a great person to have in your corner.

I really do think this may become my favorite series by these girls.
