Helpful read

Like many, setting boundaries is not an easy thing for me. This book offered insight into boundaries themselves, common problems boundaries are needed for, ways in which to establish boundaries, and the knowledge that it’s ok to think it’s difficult. Setting boundaries and sticking to them is not an easy thing, and Tawwab acknowledges that, but also says to keep going and don’t give up or give in.
If you are in a place where you need help learning about boundaries, this is certainly a great book to start with.

Really helpful and digestible with lots of helpful examples and repetition

4.5 Review to come— Totally recommend!!

Half of this book is legitimately useful advice on setting boundaries. The other half is explaining how this one simple trick will solve all your problems. Tawwab tries to couch her advice as being "part of a whole", but frequently gives the classic self-help truisms that do absolutely nothing to really help. I think this book will do more harm as fodder for self-absorbed mother-in-laws than it will for actually helping people with boundary issues.

Oooh wee! I loved listening to this so much I just brought the book so I could go through it and mark the hundreds of words of wisdom Nedra put in this. I'm horrible at setting boundaries and holding things in so this is extremely helpful if you're the same way.

The best book on boundaries I have come across. Very clear and informative and informative. Everyone should read and learn the power and value of boundaries!

lots of applicable advice, but felt very repetitive

I guess it needs to be said multiple times? Could have been an article. It also needs to be said that as a person who struggles with boundaries, it did give me perspective on some relationships
