I know I am late to the party here but OH MY GOD I LOVED THIS SO MUCH. I was laughing out loud, sobbing, and smiling like an idiot throughout the entirety.
It's extremely rare for me to read a book within 24 hours, no matter how much I'm enjoying it. But I simply could not stop reading this. When I walked away from it, I was still thinking about it. I know this one is going to stick with me for a long time and be a forever favorite.

finally caved in and read this after people telling me to forever! i really enjoyed the trip we went on with alex and henry, they’re written very realistic even in this highly fictional scenario. the two feel like living human beings which makes the romance way more fun! once i was into it, i couldn’t put the book down so it’s definitely a new one i love! cant wait to see the book come to life on film :)

I adored this book, could not put it down! It was funny, it was intelligently written, the cast of characters was effortlessly diverse, the characters had believable flaws, and I absolutely saw the attraction and the chemistry between the two heroes. I loved the mix of proper scenes, emails, texts, news reports, it made it fun to read, and everything was happily and, most importantly, satisfactorily resolved where I didn’t feel like either main character relied too mush on the other to solve the issue for them. I simply could not say enough good things about this book!

It’s becoming apparent that I really like books with an element of “political intrigue”. I was gifted this book by a friend and was aware of how popular it was so I was exited to give it a shot. The first third of the book I was so in and engaged and loving it, and then they confess, and then the next what feels like THIRD of the book, is just the two main characters having sex in different places around the world. It was like i was being told there were stakes and this was dangerous. But it sure didn’t feel like it. And then everything picked up again in the last third and I quite liked the ending. No hate at all if you love this book, just wasn’t my favorite! 🫶
I love this book. It feels very authentic and real and I just had a lot of feelings while reading it.
