This book is most certainly overrated. It lacks empathy and focuses more on the physical than the emotional aspects of Alex and Henry’s relationship. On the other hand it is funny and generally pretty well written.

This is such a liberal wet dream fanfiction story and yet i would be a liar to say i didn't thoroughly enjoy it lmao. The gay bits at least, everything about the political stuff made me roll my eyes and think about dyadya Petya Kropotkin shaking his head in disapproval or Emma Goldman setting a cop on fire or something idk. Overall i need to read more gay romance books is my conclusion.
