Was a bit disappointed that these interviews span the past twenty or so years vs being more recent as much has changed in many of the regions Prof Chomsky speaks about. Certainly there is still much knowledge to be gleaned from his insights despite their being older as unfortunately... much does not change.
Still, given that there are many more contemporary books by Prof Chomsky to choose from I would seek one of those (Who Rules The World? being the most recent).

Lots of valid commentary despite the fact that it infuriated me to read about

With current events, Chomsky as a leftist, academic and activist is just the kind of thinker we need right now.
In quite a brief series of interviews, David Barsamian managed to garner his perspective on a breadth of international issues and struggles against dominant power, featuring Chomsky's signature incisive criticism of imperialism and neoliberalism.
