it’s nice to dive back into the OSC universe and especially nice to revisit enders perspective since the last few books i read were from bean. It’s interesting that when reading the ender quintet I was certain I couldn’t like bean any better than him, then in the Bean centric books i was sure i’d deluded myself and bean was so much more interesting and now again I’m back to liking enders books more

I love the Ender universe and this novel is an enjoyable diversion into that place. Tying up loose ends here and there, it is worth reading, but only if you have already enjoyed all that came before.

Since this book was written 24 years (I think?) after the first (amazing) novel there are some inconsistencies. However, if you're tempted to just put it down due to this I urge you to not and just keep reading; it is all explained in the afterward.

Another banger from my homeboy Orson - hasn’t gotten too weird about marriage yet so that’s nice.

I really enjoyed this book but felt it was a bit slow at points.
