This was a very quick and impactful read! I enjoyed the narrative voice, and am happy that I got to hear the author's words in the audiobook! I think it's important to discuss teenage friendship and talk conflict, decisions, and good/bad influence. Overall, I recommend to YA lovers!

This book. These words. Mahogany Browne is a genius. Every young girl who has struggled with finding herself needs to read this. This spoke to me, especially the fact that she used basketball as her place of solace. Wow.

A novel in verse, I loved the writing style. This book highlighted friendship, self-development, growth, and learning how to stand up for yourself. It also showed how someone can be so passionate about sports.

I enjoyed the audiobook a lot, as well.
