Sad to learn Barbara Seranella is no longer with us. I've loved her writing over many, many years. Munch Mancini is one of my favorite fictional characters, ever.

Charlotte Lyon is just as good and I love her in this and wish there were more. Many more.

She's feisty and flawed, in all the best ways, and I love her snarky self-awareness.

If you've missed the Mancini books, find them!

“And this guy called himself a safety professional? When was the last time HE read a Department of Motor Vehicles manual?”

“By nature and avocation, Charlotte looked for trouble.”
