It took me so long to get through this book - which unfortunately proves to me Emily Henry is not one of the authors about whom I can just say "I love everything she writes!". I absolutely loved "Happy Place", but dragged through "People We Meet On Vacation" and now through this one as well. Although it has beautiful passages and sentences and some very heart-warming moments, for the most part I just felt like I was reading yet another boring, "feel-well" romance where everything is going to be fine at the end - with the added discomfort I kept feeling throughout the book that the title didn't make any sense whatsoever. To be fair, it did surprise me a few times, and the title eventually made sense - but I think it just took way too long to tell a story that's not so interesting and/or which details (her book, her father's story) could have been much more explored. Meh.

It is a love story, obviously, but is also a story about family dynamics, lies, and learning to live with knowledge you never wanted.
There is the perfect balance of romance and angst. The ending is lovely.
Honestly? It was just a really enjoyable book.
