An hour’s worth of prequel. Great writing, but the ending was too cliche. A random man telling you to go find a man who will love the fuck out of you? I agree but the “good samaritan” stranger is such a typical thing to see in these types of books. Nonetheless, I’m off to reading the first book of the series. Hope it gets better.

Es súper cortito y fácil de leer.
Ya quiero leer más sobre Everly y su jefe.

I don't think I have laughed out loud to a book like I did when I listened to this one. The prequel to Faking Ms. Right, this introduces us to Everly and the Dirty Martini Running Club(Hazel and Nora). It's split into 6 episodes, each a horrible date that Everly is on, and will leave you with a smile on your face. Listening to this may hit home a little too much with each disaster being something we all can relate to. It's the perfect segway to book one and I really enjoyed it.

Emma Wilder nails this hilarious story with her amazing comedic timing. It's the first time I have heard her do comedy and I could not have been more impressed. She gives all the disasters that little bit of sarcasm so we can get through and move on to the next one. I loved her performance.

•honestly? silly but cute•

super short and sweet novella to introduce you to everly dalton & her bad luck streak of terrible first dates. This is a one sitting read and consists of oddly realistic bad first dates.

I needed something sweet & simple in between a deeply involved fantasy series and this was just the fix I was looking for.

I intend to read more of this series. I just have to know where life takes everly dalton.

Happy Reading Friends xx

Really funny

It was really interesting to hear how terrible dates can be for Everly. I can’t wait to see what happens next!!!

I got this ebook free because I subscribe to CK’s newsletter so don’t forget to get this because it’s worth it (and it’s a really short mise en bouche as I would say)

We’ve all had bad dates, but Everly Dalton sure has a record of them. In this prequel novella, she’s dating a few men and let’s just say she doesn’t choose wisely. She dates the gym bro, the arrogant one, the weird one and so on.

I already knew CK’s writing because I read the Bailey Brothers, so I’m not surprise this will also be a good series. Would have rated it 5 if we got a glimpse of her boss… a better glimpse at least !

[3/5 ★★★★★] “Don’t settle. Every woman deserves a man who loves her like crazy. Who can’t imagine his life without her. That guy’s out there, trust me. Wait for him, okay? Don’t settle for anything less than a man who loves the fuck out of you. Promise?”

Estuvo entretenido, ojalá me sirva para poder leer otras cosas
