I don’t really get the point. The gods are assholes, the end.

I thoroughly enjoyed this retelling of the world famous myth of Medusa.
There were a few tweaks on all other versions I had ever heard which was nice however I thought the ending was a bit too abrupt.
All in all a lovely book to read.

Ooooh, I loved this little book! I know VEEEEEEERY little about Greek Mythology, and this retelling of Medusa's story was so good! I have no idea how close this is to the actual Medusa tale because, as I said, I went into this knowing hardly anything, but I dug it.

The writing style is simple and concise, which I greatly appreciated. When you don't know anything about the subject you're reading, it's nice not getting bogged down with a flowery prose that's cluttered with unnecessary information.

Upon finishing this, I am immediately starting 'A Spartan's Sorrow'. I can't believe I waited so long to read this. If all Greek Mythology books were written this way, I would never stop reading them! Highly recommend this!
