Wow, I wish I read this earlier. I was really impressed by her as a person.

We are so lucky to have this memoir, and if you listen to the audiobook, you get to hear it in O'Connor's own voice. I really enjoyed this and was a child when the SNL Pope tearing happened so I didn't know anything about it or her. Her storytelling is very good and I'm glad to know a little more about music and her life.

I didn’t know much about Sinead before this book but clips I’ve seen of her performances and bits I’d read about her activism convinced me to listen. Her storytelling is phenomenal and it’s clear that anyone who went into a conversation with her with open minds loved her. I will be listening to her music now.

I just can't listen to descriptions of real abuse.
