Uma maravilhosa viagem até o Canadá

Ler o primeiro livro dessa série tão interessante me marcou bastante. Foi uma leitura longa, tantas coisas ocorreram no meio da minha leitura, mas foi daqui que tirei forças para continuar. Conhecer uma personalidade tão linda como a Anne foi como ganhar uma amiga incrível. Conhecê-la, o Matthew, a Marilla e todas as outras pessoas (foi essa a sensação que tive, de que estava vivendo com eles). Estou animado para ler os próximos volumes e também ver a adaptação.

I read this book for the first time when taking a children’s literature class at university. Reading this book I felt like I could hear my own voice for the first time in a long time I could see myself as a little girl growing up and I could see myself in my own coming-of-age. As I am a similar age now to what Anne is at the end of the book I can truly say this book has stayed with me since my first time reading. I will continue to read this book again and again.I know this is a book made for children. I really feel like reading it again as a young adult has truly been a magical experience.
