I really enjoyed this one. It was your typical cheesy teenage slasher with teenage love story thrown in. The story was well paced and was an easy read. Would definitely recommend.

A decent read and I loved the characters; especially Makani and Ollie. I was a little surprised with the timing of when the killer was revealed only because I wasn't expecting it and was hoping for a twist where the identy was concerned. There was also something that Makani had done in the past prior to moving to Nebraska that she didn't want anyone to find out which was supposed to be really bad. I thought the "something" could have been stronger or not included in the book at all. It didn't really add anything to the story. But, overall it was a good read with a good ending.

Book 68 for 2024! 3.5/5 stars for this YA mystery/thriller read. The cover is perfect for the story. A bit slow in the first half, but really picked yup in the 2nd. Narrated by my all time favorite, Bahni Turpin!
