This book was definitely an interesting read from start to finish, I honestly did not expect the ending to catch me completely off guard. Memmon was something, and seeing how he was keen on making Selene remember her past life had me intrigued because of how he was doing many things to get her to remember despite her vulnerabilities. Honestly, at one point he did annoy me a little because of how much he was interfering, but then again, it was within his reasoning, even though it sorta pissed me off but then again he was being an ass AND a tease lol. Selene was relatable in many ways, and she kept pushing for the coven to accept her despite her having memory loss when using her power. I also adored how, despite her weaknesses, she wouldn't back down from a fight, and that she proves that she is worthy. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the book, and it had a lot of interesting twists and turns that had me hooked on the book itself.

This is quickly becoming my favorite of Laura’s series! I loved the vibes.. dark, morally grey, witchy, love/hate.. all of it well done! Very excited to see where the next book takes us!
