I really love these books! I usually hate reading the other main characters POV but I loved this one!

I feel like she portrays this book perfectly in line with the Persephone series. You will love Hades!

I have mixed feelings about this book. On the one hand, I liked that we got to see what Hades was up to and the gods he dealt with, and the plot itself was not bad. In fact, there seemed to be a lot more plot here than in A Touch Of Darkness. I was really excited to see Hades’ POV, but unfortunately this is where “on the other hand” comes in.
I was really annoyed by the spicy content, because it did not make the encounters more meaningful, but rather more shallow. The Hades in ATOD seemed more deep, and I know this means to be the male POV or whatever, but it came across as simply crude. As if his connection to Persephone was merely carnal. It just rubbed me the wrong way (pun intended).

The side characters here were once more great, I loved Hecate and Hermes, and enjoyed seeing more of the gods.

I listened to the audiobook version and unfortunately did not like the narrator. His performance seemed very robotic. It was even more noticeable as I also did the tandem listen with A Touch Of Darkness.
