This is the third book of Detective Kaga series translated into English and it starts with a man being found stabbed in the Nihonbashi Bridge in the center of Tokyo. The culprit of stabbing is unknown, until the police found a suspect with victim's briefcase and wallet But, the prime suspect fled and was involved in an accident with a truck, leaving him in coma and the case becomes more difficult to solve. Because the suspect can't be questioned, Detective Kaga searches to find the answers to the questions to other questions. What was the motive for the killing? Why did the victim expend the effort to move himself onto the bridge? and so on.

I'm always amazed by how Kaga solves the case. Even though the previous two books were more exciting for me, I do enjoyed the story in this book. Not only solving the case, this book also shows the relationship between father and son, honesty, and responsibility for everything you've done.
