It was more of a 3.5 for me. While i don't normally read m/m only books (more of a m/m/f fan) i still really liked this story. Both of the characters had known each other for a while and were best friends. It didn't turn out to be a random hookup which was nice as well and i like stories that end up in relationships so overall it was really good - not to mention the plot was nice:)
