It was gushy and intense. It was also mainly the building up of the climax. Not my favorite volume.

Re-read 2021: ARGHH nearing the end of the manga! I just don't want it to end! I just love how these volumes mix romance with seriousness and tons of action. We are still with the Toma business and things aren't looking good, there are tons of exciting moments, great plans (including one by Kasahara), Tezuka and his brother talk, and oh my so much more. We are truly building to the climax/the ending and I am sure it will be an exciting one (I cannot remember a lot about it since it has been 6 years). I love the romance and love that we don't just see Kasahara x Dojo, but also Shibazaki x Tezuka AND Marie and Komaki. The last couple even gets such a romantic chapter and I loved it. I hope that Komaki and Marie stay together and get married.
The ending, oh my!
The bonus manga were a fun addition. I laughed a lot.

-----------------------------------------------------

Finally the 13th volume is out! It was a bit confusing (which comes with the time it takes for the manga to be released (now almost a year)), but you can quickly ease back into the story and find out all there is.

The manga is still on the whole Toma vs MBC/MBA, we are slowly getting to a climax though, throughout this manga there are plans being made, things being discussed and in the end a very big plan is being hatched. At times it was a bit boring, I am not really one to care about things like politics and so at times I was just hoping stuff would speed up. I also (probably due to it taking ages to be released) kept mixing up the whole MBA and MBC stuff. After I read it I just went online to find out what the difference was again.

Of course, the book isn't only about politics, troubles and fights, it is also about Dojo and Kasahara getting further in their relationship. Though it does get a bit boring that they still aren't together, yet are flirting so much with each other that it is bordering on too much, especially considering they aren't in a relationship and are still boss and subordinate. I am just hoping they will get together and will finally be a bit romantic.

Kasahara's idea was brilliant, though she didn't knew it would give such a reaction. At times she does have some smart remarks/ideas.

Oh, Oh, I have to give cheers because of the Komaki x Marie part. That part was just so fricking adorable! I was just squealing in delight. Marie is a very lucky girl, and I am sure she and Komaki will be very happy together. :)

The bonus manga were fun, it was a nice added bonus.

I am a bit worried about how the mangaka will finish the story, according to an article on AnimeNewsNetwork, the mangaka is fnished with the manga now, which means we will probably either get one or 2 more volumes. I am worried that they author won't be able to finish it, or will rush it. Both situations would be terribly sad.
Oh well, I guess we will see in a year or maybe longer, depending on how fast the chapters are bundled and how fast Viz will translate them and bring them out.

The art is still fun and I really love looking at the characters, the mangaka does such a good job on them!

All in all, I would still recommend this volume, it was quite interesting (though also boring at times).

Kasahara and Dojo

These two are super cute and are acting adorably cute and they really need to just admit their feelings for each other!

This entry into the series just didn't grab my attention for some reason. It was fine but I didn't think it added much to the overall story. Since there are only two more left to go, I will read them as well so I can see how it all wraps up.

There’s a lot of serious stuff happening right now. The library force is hiding an author, trying to keep him safe and figure out what to do about the big problem regarding him, in which Iku has a brilliant idea. Shibazaki has another behind-the-scenes talk with Tezuka’s brother.

But mostly, it’s all the character and romance stuff that I love about this series.

Shibazaki and Tezuka are in a bit of a middle-ground, mostly with Tezuka unsure of her real feelings. It’s cute. Dojo and Iku have a few moments in this volume, including a bit of hand-holding. It’s adorable and really hinting at more soon. It makes me so happy and I can’t wait. And finally, Komaki and Marie get a chapter where they go on a date, in which Marie is too afraid to ask for more, and Komaki is feeling a little possessive. It’s so sweet and heartwarming, and I love them. I love how mature they are. I just savor every bit we get of them together.

I can’t wait to get my hands on the next one. Ugh, this series makes me so ridiculously happy!
