I think this was an approachable and well-researched book. I’m not entirely new to this topic so I think it would be a great introduction to anyone looking to learn more.

I liked that the book included little exercises and discussion questions at the end of each chapter, and a bunch of resources for people throughout and at the end of the book.

Although the book is beautiful, I wasn’t expecting a coffee table-esque type book. I wanted to make notes but didn’t want to mess the book up lol.

I could not get into the audiobook. I may attempt to read the print version later.

Why have those hardest hit and impacted by the climate crisis contributed to the crisis the least and why has the Global North used the Global South as a dumping grounds for waste?

The first book I would recommend to anyone interested in climate justice and the application of intersectionality in relation to the climate crisis. Has a firm and powerful call to action, encouraging a solution-seeking mindset over climate anxiety/doomism.

real intersectional environmental read! loved the integration of other scholars work re: queerness, indigenous communities, BIPOC, environmental injustice, veganism. highly recommend for an intro into this topic and i’m definitely looking into the other literary recommendations

It’s hard for me to rate non-fiction books generally but this one didn’t hit me super hard. Almost everything I already knew and it felt like something that could have been an essay.
