Thomas's work is a fantastic, albeit brief, overview of the ways that environmentalists can work to be more inclusive, while highlighting a lot of the work already being done by BIPOC people. Thomas writes of the various ways that minority groups and cultures are bearing the worst of the burdens of pollution, capitalism, and even environmental efforts. I really appreciated the Pledges and discussion questions at the end of the chapters. There is also a "Toolkit" section with a ton of extra resources to point people in specific directions, if they want to take further action in a particular area that interests them.
