A beautiful recounting of finding yourself by going back home.

Hits equally hard for those with strained mother-daughter or father-daughter relationships. Definitely had a good cry about ⅔ in.

Some of the best memoir writing I've ever seen. A perfect encapsulation of a life filled with heartbreak, trauma, and triumph. I cried.
