This book is a great help in homeschooling high schoolers. The explanations and examples of creating high school transcripts and course descriptions have been extremely helpful in my own homeschooling. Discovering this book early in my son's high school career is going to save me a lot of heart ache and problems later when he goes to apply to different universities and colleges.
My only complaint (and it's quite trivial) is the overwhelming number of explanation points used in the text. They just make the book feel less professional and more gushing. It was rather distracting. Perhaps I need to start up a club, "Readers Against the Misuse of Punctuation" or RAMP for short.
No doubt I will be reading this book again when college application time arrives.

If you are trying to figure out high school transcripts for your homeschooler, you need to get this book. It is broken down into easy to digest chapters with A TON of examples. Everything from how to grade, how to set up the transcript, writing course descriptions etc. Definite must read for anyone that is homeschooling high school aged kids.
This was straight forward, detailed, without extraneous information. I am a secular homeschooler, and while there is religious information, it is not so overwhelming as to be off-putting. I appreciate that she does not promote a particular curriculum or type of homeschooling, simple tells how to document what you have done and gives lots of examples of how to does so.
This is a must-read for anyone currently homeschooling or those considering it but afraid of how they would homeschool the higher grades.
