Holy hotness! This book was so freaking steamy and deliciously hot! I could not put it down. I recommend having your BOB or significant other around because this book is full of yummy hotness!

I'm in love with Delcan! I'm a sucker for Alpha assholes and he was the perfect grumpy boss. And Hannah was full of sass and gave it right back to Delcan. The banter was sweet perfection.

This was the perfect book to start 2023 off.

“There was no choice in my mind. There was only him. And us.”

Once again, loved it. This one is so beautiful, the internal fight that Declan has to battle…sooo beautiful. Loved Hannah, how she dealed with Declan’s stubborness. One more to go in the series

Four stars for how quickly I read it, but otherwise a three star read.

So much milking.
She describes him licking her

Declan and Hannah meet in a trial advocacy course at USC law school. Declan is the wealthy, successful trial lawyer visiting the school to grace the course with his presence and advice as he does once every semester and Hannah is a beautiful, gifted law student that catches his attention immediately. Hannah also happens to be Hannah Dalton, of the big Dalton law firm that Declan was just hired at. On Declan’s first day, he finds out he’ll have a legal intern for one semester… who happens to be none other than Hannah herself. A quick one night hookup turns into a spicy secret workplace romance told from both Hannah and Declan’s points of view.

I would have enjoyed Hannah and the actual story more if Hannah wasn’t so shy and mousy around Declan and just overall so anxious. I wish she was more confident and acted like the super smart and pretty bada** she is. It would make the story seem a little less predatory and manipulative. Also, sexier for sure.

This is my first Marni Mann read and also it follows this is my first read in this series but it, like all others I now know, can be read as a standalone.

With the understanding that I was listening to this on 2.5x speed, I did not enjoy the male narrator for this audiobook. He sounded like he belonged in a spicy dark fantasy romance novel instead and wasn’t very great at sounding like a female when “playing” Hannah. However, I did enjoy the female narrator.

Thank you so much to NetGalley, Dreamscape Media, and Marni for an audiobook download of this title in exchange for an honest review!

Steamy!!! This book is a great billionaire romance. I really enjoyed the story line. The story is kind of a enemies to lovers. It gives off the best friend's little sister vibes. This one hits a lot of different tropes.
The narrators were great! I felt like I was actually "watching" this story unfold.

Now I just have to go back and read the books before this one.

Easy read! Lots of

Marni Mann's Dalton Family series is addictively spicy and I simply cannot get enough! The Intern starts off with a BANG with two strong leads and infinite sexual tension. Although this is book 4 in a series, it can be read a standalone (although I promise you're going to want to read the other books too)

The Intern is the first book in the series where we follow a Dalton lady, instead of the previous three books which follow three brothers. Hannah is the feisty baby cousin of the Dalton brothers and like them, is also on her path of becoming a lawyer. Dalton, is our alpha male main character. He is successful, intense, and intimidating but my god does he meet his match in his new intern, Hannah. The same intern he has a bit of a *past* with...

The heat in this is undeniable! In true Marni Mann fashion, this will leave you squeezing your thighs together. But there is level of gentleness between these characters that made me fall in love with them! I loved Hannah and Declan's dynamic. He's an ass and she doesn't take any shit, it's a match made in heaven!

OMFG
