Essie Winterscale lives in a huge and ever-changing house in the village of Good Winter, in deepest, darkest Essex. I enjoyed this a lot! I was in a little bit of a slump this month and this was such a fun one to get me back into reading! I liked the time travel and all the witchy vibes, Josh and Essie were cute, if a bit cringe at times haha.
Couldn’t keep my attention and the story was a little slow.

DNF at 25%. Try-hard overly quirky but actually everyone was insufferable. Nothing made sense, terrible writing style and vibes.
