This is my favourite book in the series so far, I think!
I love the guys and girls’ tight-knit friend groups. Serious friendship goals right there. Ms. Hattie and Thatcher are adorable; I particularly love Thatcher’s dry humour…a man after my own heart. I loved Grayson’s personality; he’s a typical six year old but totally polite and respectful. Also Jo and Trevor are cute; I’m glad Trevor gets a happily ever after, after all. ;) Layla and Zac are a lovely couple, and I enjoyed seeing them end up together and work through their issues.
Okay, and can we take a minute to appreciate how in these books each of the Marine heroes have a young guy they work with/speak into their lives and help them out?! Seriously so heart warming.
Content: drinking; its revealed Zac had a one night stand with a woman, resulting in a baby he didn’t know about; Ms. Hattie again officiates a wedding

Took me awhile to like Zac but it was a sweet story with a lot of great moments. Enjoyed all the tie ins with the other characters and the different roles in the military

This series is so cute. I have loved all of them so far. Since reading the epilogue in the last book, I have been eagerly waiting for this book. I immediately loved the characters and couldn't wait to see what would happen with them. I wasn't disappointed. They had a lot of cute moments as they worked through some things, but their love always seemed stronger than anything.
I really enjoyed getting to see a lot of the previous characters. There was a lot that happened in the side characters' lives during this book. I absolutely loved getting to see that. I think this book focused a lot on other characters, but they played into the story well. I almost wish the book had been just a bit longer, so we could see more between Zac and Layla. It was fine without it, but I feel like I could have enjoyed their romance a bit better if I had seen more of it.
The book was such a sweet story. I enjoyed it so much.
