thrillers and I just have NOT been vibing lately.
This story had multiple pov's. And they existed in tandem. It felt like time was moving so slowly.
It just was not my favorite stylistically.

The focus on an upper class family of twits was completely off putting. I enjoyed the plot, but found myself picturing Helen the main character as Boris Johnson’s sister……. That says it all really!

3.5. This was really easy to read and enjoyable! I find it so hard for a thriller to surprise me (not in the twist, but in the content?) so that’s why I’m not rating it higher. Felt like something I’d read before. Def recommended if you’re in the mood for a thriller

This was that rare mystery I enjoyed. Kind of a dumb protagonist (is there no getting away from that?), still enjoyable. Pregnant mom gets befriended at antenatal class (London) by over the top "fun" girl. Things go awry.
