Slow start but the ending was very good
Some chapters ended abruptly

I read this pretty quick because I had to find out what was happening!

This book is certainly enjoyable but the plot is entirely guessable and literally everyone is a terrible person. I normally enjoy unlikeable characters but this got a bit much.

I loved this mystery story. It kept me wondering til the end!

3.5 stars. I tried the audiobook of this, but it made it difficult for me to follow so I switched to reading it physically. Once I started reading it physically, I didn’t want to put it down. I loved the mystery and weird vibes of Rachel (who doesn’t care that she drinks and smokes while pregnant??). I thought it was a slow start at first, but it was captivating about a third of the way in. As a debut, it was pretty good! I enjoyed the short chapters and multiple points of view. The characters were unlikeable in that good way that makes a thriller worth reading. I look forward to picking up more from this author.

This book had me guessing until the very end. Highly enjoyed, looking forward to the book club discussion this week.

4.5

Enjoyable thriller. Very twisty, although I wish Helen was a little stronger of a person. But that doesn't mean she wasn't a well defined character. Anyway, I liked it all the way through.

This was a fun, quick paced thriller! I figured most of it out before the end, but it was a page turner with some major unanswered questions which kept me flipping late into the night!
