I love this series and can't wait to see what's next. Lailu continues to put herself in some foolhardy situations and stumble into political shenanigans with her friends and come through like a badass.

I loved A Pinch of Phoenix so much and I'm so sad that the series is over! I have no idea which book in the series is my favorite because I love all three of them so much. I highly recommend reading this series.

A strong ending to a delightful series—it might even be my favorite of the trilogy!

Like its predecessors, Phoenix is fast-paced, witty, full of adventure, and utterly charming. I love how Lailu fully comes into her own as a character and a heroine.

I highly recommend The Mystic Cooking Chronicles for any young readers interested in fantasy and adventure, and especially those with a budding interest in all things culinary.
