Interesting and fun premise with a sweet execution but it didn't quite come together. It felt like a book that had all the pieces but never fleshed them out into something that really works. Nothing is delved into in enough detail to be satisfying which is a shame because it's so close. Nonetheless, I had fun reading it. I did like all of the characters and the premise got me thinking enough for it to stay interesting.
Dnf @ 63%. I was listening to it on audible but I honestly never really got the hang of it. Felt like the book was all over the place. Synopsis was interesting, thought I would like it but I just couldn’t get into the book.
Y’all. Y’ALL! This book right here was a sleeper surprise. I was 100% expecting a cute rom com. While, yes, it was that, it was so much more!
The inclusion and representation in this book was both very present but also natural … if that makes sense. The main character effortlessly accepts people for who they are. She doesn’t stumble over pronouns or complain about learning sign language. She does what we should all do … meet people where they are and don’t force personal beliefs on them.
I also loved Cory and all of Corinne’s friends and family. The romance part of the novel didn’t disappoint, either.
All in, this was a fabulous book. Go get it.

The book was fine. Didn’t get much out of it and the unnecessary lack of communication at the end part of the book with the 3rd act breakup felt really unneeded. They got back together like 2 chapters later and the book ended

Really enjoyed this! It took me a little while to get into it but once I did I was invested and kept wanting to come back to these characters.
