The characters seemed diverse just to say they were and it never really added to the story at all nor was it used in anyway. Feeling more emotional on a plane definitely came into effect here at two spots in the second half.

This was a very cute romcom. I loved everything about Corinne from her hair to her way of Adulting because she did not have anything figured out which was really relatable. I felt like the ending took a while and was dragging on and on but I appreciate the ending when I got out there. Please check your warnings.

This book ultimately didn't really work super well for me.

I read this book casually throughout a period of time which is unusual for me as when I pick a book, I read it within a week or so usually. But this book kept me coming back. The main character was relatable in her choices with finding a job right for her which I really loved the fact that finding a good career for her was a part of the book.

okay, YES. THE REPRESENTATION ALL AROUND!!!!! this book was so fucking adorable. corinne navigated grief, uncertainty, and a whole lot of lost connections. i loved cory's character and the friendships that were developed. it would've been 5 stars if there was at least a TINY bit of spice after all of that tension.
