I loved this book! I love this world that "Pittacus Lore" has created. It keeps me entranced and hungry for more. Great balance of action, dialogue and description, with the perfect amount of romance for a book like this. I sympathize and love the characters, and none of them are irritating. Can't wait to start the next one!

Despite the title, this one featured a lot of Seven aka Marina and that was... just okay. Look I liked this entry, the fact that John is meeting up with more of his own people to try and survive is really interesting, but I didn't love Marina's POV. However, Six (who should have been the most prevalent new character given her name was literally in the title) was so awesome that she really made this book as good as it is. Still looking forward to reading the next one though.

The authors, under the combined alias of Pittacus Lore, did an amazing job on this book. They did not crush the quality of the first, like some other authors tend to do, but instead made the second one even better.

I didn't like Seven until the book was nearly over. Her narration seemed to repeat itself. However, I find Six and Four easy to relate to.

Kick a word.

These books are just getting me hooked. I love the development of each of the Garde characters (It'd be nice if they had done each one as in depth as Four). I like how all of their circumstances are unique and different. Same with the Cepan. They each raised the Garde to be different and it's neat to see how the Garde responded to their upbringing. At least talked more about number 1-3. Maybe they will in future books.

It didn't explain clearly how Four or Six were able to get the tablet and other documents from Sam's basement after the second attack in Paradise. It was like they set them down. Went to go fight and then all of a sudden they found them again. I just need to pay attention better next time.

Sometimes I find myself getting frustrated at Four with his girl issues. Clearly Six is a much better choice. Then I realize that I'm just as dumb when it comes to dating and can't make up my mind like him either.

I was really excited to read this after finishing [b:I am Number Four|7747374|I am Number Four (Lorien Legacies, #1)|Pittacus Lore|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1305807140s/7747374.jpg|10576999]. The wait turned out to be worth it. While the book could have gone with the typical one narrator approach, Lore added another point of view with Number 7. The separate stories kept reading the book excited as stories switched almost every chapter. Original characters were further developed in The Power of Six and new ones were added. The twists, turns and betrayals in The Power of Six, along with the battles, make the wait for the next book in the series seem entirely too long.
