J'ai adoré.
Lorsque je vois le tag Unlimited Flow, je suis immédiatement attirée, mais s'il y a en plus de l'horreur et du gore, je ne peux définitivement pas passer à côté. Malgré tout, je n'étais pas sûre d'aimer et j'avais même du coup peur d'être déçue. Heureusement, j'ai au contraire, passé un excellent moment. Chaque porte était cool à sa façon, certaines vraiment géniales et je n'ai pas boudé mon plaisir. Mais le plus important pour moi étant les personnages, c'est encore fois, ce qui m'a complètement séduite. Ruan Nanzhu est dès le départ devenu l'un de mes personnages favoris et s'est fait une place dans mon classement des meilleurs top de danmei. J'adore sa personnalité, autant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur des portes. Sa "double" identité m'a séduite immédiatement et c'est dès le départ en le découvrant ainsi que j'ai su que j'allais l'aimer. Lin Qiushi, est tout aussi incroyable à sa façon. J'aime énormément sa personnalité calme et réfléchie, son intelligence, son sang-froid et le fait qu'il soit soft, mais pas du tout naïf ou manipulable. Sa relation avec Ruan Nanzhu est incroyable. J'ai adoré son évolution, j'ai été touchée par leur confiance inébranlable l'un en l'autre, par leur façon de se comprendre juste en se regardant et par le naturel de leur amour. Le slow burn est supérieur, encore une fois, j'en ai la preuve :) Le petit twist à la fin m'a plu aussi, car ça lie beaucoup de choses de façon assez cohérente, donc j'ai été très satisfaite par la fin. Les bonus étaient hilarants pour certains (drama king Ruan Nanzhu n'aime pas s'ennuyer ^^) et vraiment touchants pour d'autres. J'ai été émue par ceux sur les personnages morts, j'avais l'impression que Xi Zixu voulait sadiquement me torturer une seconde fois alors que je faisais à peine mon deuil !
Qu'est-ce que je vais faire maintenant sans les scénarios extravagants de Ruan Nanzhu ?! Je suppose qu'il faut vite que je commence un nouveau danmei jusqu'à tomber à nouveau amoureuse. Mais promis membres d'Obsidian, je ne vous oublierais pas.

As someone who occasionally reads horror, I did not find this scary. Creepy and gross at times, but not scary. But wow, the emotional impact! This couple! I found myself crying multiple times.
I was a little dissatisfied with how it ended. Partly because I didn't want it to end, and also I felt there were some unanswered questions that I needed elaboration on. But, still five stars, and I will definitely reread it.

Ten days ago I finished book one from this series and now, six books later, this story finished me. As I couldn't find a release date for book two, I ran straight to the Webnovel app and continued reading.

I don't think it's heavy on the horror. More a supernatural mystery with horror elements, but if monsters on a killing spree are not your thing, then this might not be for you.
