I love the melancholy death of oyster boy a lot, I like that it has Tim burtons dark themes and dark art style but in a format accessible for everyone. And I like too that each story has morals and lessons adults, teenagers and children can learn from. Overall would highly recommend for everyone to read.

"To avoid a lawsuit, we'll just call her Sue (or "that girl who likes to sniff lots of glue"). The reason I know that this is the case is when she blows her nose, kleenex sticks to her face."

This book is so Tim Burton, it's painful.

Creepy, funny, and a little sad. It's a fast read, and it's absolutely fascinating. But again, so freaking creepy.

Some of these are going to stay with me awhile...

One of the greatest Christmas presents I've ever received. Great read, very twisted. Perfectly Burton.

In love with this. I can't stand about 98% of poetry, but Burton's is so simple, funny and some of them pack a real punch, even if he didn't necessarily mean them to. "Voodoo Girl" is my favorite, with "Anchor Baby" at a close second.

His fun, short poetry, accompanied by his brilliantly effortless artwork is just the most lovely combination. Definitely one of my favorite things to read.
