I am feeling a bit protective of our protagonist and storyteller. He's been through it... and then goes through more... and just when he's thinking , "That's it, they are gonna put me on ice..."  I'm off to seek book 6...🤣🤣🤣

For me personally, this book was one of the weaker ones. I saw comments about the plot in this book suffering because it got split up from the fourth book and that both were supposed to be one complete book. I agree with that. There was a strange subplot thrown in near the end that I’m not entirely sure I liked, and that felt a little out of place. Also a certain death occurred and I was not a fan of it AT ALL. It felt cheap and unfair. For me at least. Hoping the next book does something to redeem the series for me because that was a flat ending.
