I don’t think I’ve actually read this, just dragged it from melb to Syd for the past 11 years. And it was terrible, truly awful.

A modern answer to Judith Krantz!! I didn't know anyone wrote these wonderful, fun, trashy family dynasty novels anymore. I loved this - a blast to read, with all the diamonds and silly smuttyness of a Krantz novel, only with more up-to-date cultural references and fashions. A must-read for Krantz fans.

This is a good read! Really good looksee into the Hollywood world - all fictional, of course.

No matter how true or real the scenarios are though, the characters are very well fleshed out. I really could sympathise with Siena, Hunter, Max, Tiffany and all... And I really adored Max. Both he and Siena are such imperfect characters that they felt really human.

The plot is your usual scandal-ridden, heart-breaking/makeup, psychotic family story, nothing that can surprise you really. But the humanity of stars and the well-written characters made this a good beach read.

Or a good read on long commutes.

This book is not the most high brow but it was definitely enjoyable. It follows the story of Hollywood Elite, Sienna, through her life as part of one of the first families of Hollywood. It's definitely juicy but gets a little slow at the end.
