If there's one thing about me, I will be reading a cowboy romance! I had such a fun time with this book, and I loved the premise and vibes when it was introduced to me! From what we learn about Jensen at the start (a CEO? who used to live on a ranch? and is now a single dad? hello all of my favorite book tropes!), I knew this was going to be a gooooooood one!

I loved how welcoming and accepting everyone in Bluebell and Silver Saddle Ranch (sidenote: Bluebell has THE CUTEST names for their buildings! Like heck yeah I'll go to the Prickly Pear Diner that sounds DELIGHTFUL), and I really appreciated that Jensen was open to the village he was building for his son. It's so often in romance books that the single parent wants to do everything himself and not rely on others, but to see a book where they're open to help from others and willing to loosen the reins was enjoyable.

This book had me giggling kicking my feet at various moments, and tearing up at others! It was everything I want in a romance novel, and I loved getting to read it!

Thank you Ann for the early copy!

Cute story between newly single dad Jenson returning to the hometown he fled years and his best friend’s little sister who agrees to be his son’s nanny. Caleb, Jenson’s son, was so shy and sweet and I loved how he took to the animals especially Ziggy the fainting goat. Caleb and Briar’s relationship was so sweet- she never tried to replace his mom but gave Caleb a safe space to grieve and come out of his shell. Briar did the same for Jenson without even realizing it and Jenson knew Briar was the missing piece to his and Caleb’s new life. The tension between Briar and Jenson was flirty and fun and they both found comfort in the little moments with each other. The little family the formed was so sweet and Silver Saddle Ranch was the perfect place for them to start their new chapter.

Thank you @thesmuthood and @authoranneinerson for this eARC in exchange for my honest feedback

I love Ann's writing so freaking much!! I fell in love with her writing with the Aspen Grove series and those fluffy romances.

I thought this one was also going to be on the same lines but oh boy this one gave more. It had more *grunts* to the story and I WAS TOTALY HERE FOR IT!!

If you want a cowboy, age gap, single dad x nanny fun story then you NEED to pick this one up.

(arc review) - OUT NOW!!

The Silver Saddle Ranch series kicks off with Wrangled Love, a heartfelt and spicy debut that delivers small-town tenderness, cowboy heat, and the emotional journey of unexpected parenthood. We meet Jensen, a big-city CEO who returns to his Montana roots after learning (surprise!) he has a five-year-old son named Caleb. There, he is taken by Briar, the capable and compassionate ranch caretaker who just so happens to be his best friend’s younger sister. He remembers her from childhood, but she's now an independent, strong-willed, and hard-working woman building a life for herself.

When Jensen relocates to Silver Saddle Ranch for the summer, hoping to help his son Caleb adjust to life after his mother’s passing, Briar steps in to offer support. She becomes Caleb’s nanny, and what begins as a slow-burn partnership rooted in caregiving soon simmers into something much deeper. As Briar and Jensen navigate co-parenting, front porch swing confessions, and a very spicy Ferris wheel encounter, the emotional center of the story always remains Caleb, the little boy who steals every scene, without speaking, with his grief, resilience, and growing trust in the adults around him.

Einerson’s writing shines in her ability to balance steamy romance with real emotional stakes. Her characters feel lived-in and well-crafted, with backstories that ground them and groupchat dynamics that add humor and texture. The found family vibes are strong, with a lovable supporting cast (including a fainting goat named Ziggy) that makes Bluebell, Montana feel like somewhere you wouldn’t mind settling down yourself.

There were some moments where I thought the story was leaning on familiar tropes a little too heavily, and repeated them often. However, the emotional authenticity of the characters always brought the story back to center. I'd love to see future installments dive deeper into Briar’s circle of friends, who were personal standouts for me, even in their brief scenes!

Fans of Elsie Silver, Virgin River, and Paisley Hope will find plenty to love, especially if you're in the mood for more cowboy charm, vulnerable but handsome leads, and a romance that blooms alongside a child’s healing heart.

Ann Einerson coming in HOT with her new cowboy romance!! This book was so cute and I loved every second of it! I wasn’t able to put this down! I was HOOKED from the start!

This whole book was so beautiful and wholesome! I wasn’t expecting how heavy their lives were! It was sometimes emotional and it’s exactly what I needed. Jensen is a billionaire living in NYC and owner of his own tech company, who just found out that he has a 5 year old son named Caleb after a one night stand. He then goes back to his hometown with his son for a little bit. With the help of his best friend’s sister, Caleb started to open up more.

The chemistry between Jensen & Briar was off the charts!! I was kicking my feet and all giddy! That mouth on Jensen is HAWT! LOVED!

Thank you so much Ann Einerson for this eARC!

This was so sweet & steamy. A great single dad and nanny romance with a little cowboy vibes.

I really enjoyed the dynamic between Jensen, Briar and Caleb. I thought both of their relationships with Caleb was so cute. It was so sweet and heartwarming seeing Caleb grow out of his shell around them. The found family vibes are strong here.

Jensen and Briar's romance is also sweet and romantic. These two will make you swoon for sure. Plus the ferris wheel scene did not disappoint!

If you enjoy single dad x nanny, small town and cowboy vibes, I would say give this a shot.

Listennn I thought I would be a ‘If You Give. A Single Dad A Nanny’ ride or die forever as an @authoranneinerson lover but I think this one takes my favourite Ann book 🥹

I’m forever and always a sucker for a small town and and age gap AND a brothers best friend… but my little Dino love man Caleb?! He stole my heart in this one.

Jensen and Briar knew each other growing up but as soon as he could, Jenson got outta their small town and didn’t look back. Until he gets a phone call saying that not only did a one night stand result in a son (sweet angel Caleb) but Caleb’s mom has also passed away and she’s left Jensen in charge.

Jensen decides what might be best for Caleb after his whole life turned upside down is to slow down from city life and be surrounded by a loving and stable fam 🥹

This one is out today and I really want to say all the cute things that will make you want to pick it up but just trust me, there’s so many heartfelt thingssss in here.

And Jensen and Briar were hot. There was this ‘should we, shouldn’t we’ thing going 😏 they really had a connection but they wanted to make sure they both were putting Caleb and his needs first.

There’s also a Ferris wheel scene and it’s such a niche scene/trope but I fricken eat up a Ferris wheel scene ever single time 🤣

- small town
- surprise single dad x nanny
- brother’s best friend
- “urban” cowboy
- forced proximity (living together for the summer)
- age gap (he’s 8 years older)
- no third-act breakup
- 🌶️🌶️/5
- dual pov

When CEO Jensen discovers he has a five-year-old son after his mother's sudden passing, he trades NYC skyscrapers for his small-town Montana roots. He heads home for the summer to lean on his best friend and his tight-knit, supportive family. Cue the urban cowboy era! What he doesn’t expect is sharing a cottage with his best friend’s little sister, hiring her as his nanny, falling for her, and starting to picture a completely different future.

Blair steps up in every way, especially for Caleb, who hasn’t spoken since losing his mum. Watching Jensen and Blair gently build a safe, loving environment around Caleb is so touching. There are plenty of melt-your-heart moments as he begins to feel secure again.

And Jensen? He is peak book boyfriend material. Caring, protective, emotionally open, and absolutely bringing the spice when it counts. His relationship with Blair is the perfect mix of sweet and steamy. Their similar pasts mean they just get each other, making their romance feel effortless and real.

Wrangled Love is low angst in the best way. No brotherly drama (he’s totally on board), no messy breakup, just a soft, steady romance that builds beautifully. And yes, you still get plenty of laughs with brotherly interruptions, chaotic group chats, and chicken heists, because of course.

Wrangled Love is just as cute as its cover. It’s heartfelt, funny, and swoony, and it delivers all the comfort of a small-town romance without losing the heat.

Thanks so much to Ann for the early copy!

This is the first in a new series by Ann and I am so happy to be entering a new world set on Silver Saddle Ranch, with a whole host of new characters.

Wrangled Love is Briar and Jensen’s story. They’ve known each other since they were kids, but Jensen couldn’t wait to leave his small town life behind. Briar stayed, built a life she loves, and definitely didn’t expect Jensen to show up years later with his five-year-old son, who he only just found out about.

Their romance is a slow burn, but it’s soft and steady in the best way. Caleb totally stole the show, and watching the three of them find their way as a little family gave me all the feels.

Jensen’s return isn’t smooth sailing, but it forces him to face the past, step up as a dad, and finally figure out what matters most.

I loved the whole cast of side characters. Briar’s girl gang is hilarious (the group chat antics and animal rescue missions? Iconic 😂). And honestly, Ziggy the fainting goat and Petunia the cow deserve their own novellas.

This is a beautiful start to a new series, I cannot wait to delve into. I’m extremely excited to see what (and who) comes next!
