I've been trying to get information on CBD because it was recently legalized in my state and I'm looking for alternative medicine for migraine. This book is a good place to get started. I'm taking away two stars though because I'm tired of reading information about CBD oil that ignores the cost of the product. This cost is more of an issue since you can't guarantee the quality. When the author blithely talks about the dosing being as varied as 3mg to 100mg (the highest recommended dose) she completely ignores the cost of the product at the moderate to high doses. For example, one of the reputable producers of CBD oil prices their cheapest product at $30 for 300mg worth of oil. If you take the product at 3mg 2x/day that's 50 days for $30....not bad. At least on a par with a typical Rx copay. Unfortunately, if you are someone who needs 50mg 2x a day that's...well the math is not that hard....that's $30 for every 3 days. That's $300 a month. I'm thinking that is probably out of the budget of most of us mortals. This is my problem about people "reporting" on CBD. They focus on the benefits, but ignore the financial cost.

A good introductory look at the benefits of CBD.
